Job Title

Credit Analyst

Role purpose

The role of credit analyst consists in

1- Gathering soft and hard information on companies either over the phone, during ad hoc visit or through own network

2- Analyzing the information gathered

3- Preparing a buyer visit report or minutes of conference calls for the underwriting team with a recommendation on the company capacity to pay its suppliers

4- Enhance the visibility of Tawuniya on the market and explain what trade credit insurance is and what the benefit is for the company met

5- Support the underwriting team in its day to day operations

Essential position criteria

Financial analysis qualifications and atleast 3-4 years related working experience

Financial and analytical competencies:

· Proven working knowledge of financial analysis skills.

· Demonstrated strong analytical skills (SWOT…)

Economic and business environment:

· Good knowledge of the Middle East markets

· Good understanding of the business environment

IT skills:

· Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point

· Ability to use the Internet as a research tool

Communication skills:

· Capacity to conduct interview face to face or over the phone

· Clear and concise speech

· Diplomacy and respect

Co-ordination, planning and organiser

· anticipates patterns / processes and links

· a self-starter / manages own time

· good organisation skills to follow up and ensure deadlines are being met

Problem solver

· looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Economics or Business or Accounting or Finance

Other Qualifications:

Financial Analysis

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in the area of Financial Analysis or account receivable or credit management / treasury or accounting

Language:

Ability to write and speak English fluently is essential

Being fluent in Arabic is a real plus

Being capable of reading financial statement in Arabic is an advantage

IT:

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point

Ability to use the Internet as a research tool
